RiscUtils/!RuInstall/Install/!Help/Help/Text/Help/No-Caret
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Remove_Caret : This is an accompanying component to the "Check_KeyboardState" component , and although a seperate program is not useful enough to be considered a fully fledged'component' in it's own right. It simply provides the command "Remove_Caret", which when issued from a file run by the mouse only, and *not* manually typed at the command line, it will remove the caret from it's current window, hence de-selecting it. For main use, see the help file 'Check-State'. To activate the 'Remove_Caret' command simply run 'RISCutils', with the 'Remove_Caret' option in RISCutil's !Run file set to 'Y'. To de-activate it run the file RISCutils.User_Area.Files.Remove, and run 'RISCutils', with the 'Remove_Caret' option set to 'N.'
