This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

ADFImager v1.00
INTRODUCTION
This is a a utility which can read/write the contents of ADF disc images.
ADF images are used by Archimedes emulators on the PC and Unix platforms.
INSTALLATION
Drag !ADFImager to wherever it is to live and run.
SETTING UP
See Installation!
Note:- ADFImager is actually 2 separate programs
1. Frontend
2. Backend which can be run from the command line
i.e. from withing a task window.
HELP
This application does NOT support interactive help.
USING ADFImager
Writing to Disc
1. Run !ADFImager
2. Open window by clicking Select on the icon on the iconbar.
3. Drag ADF image (must have /ADF in the filename) to the window.
4. Put a blank disc in the drive.
5 Click Process
Writing to Image
1. Run !ADFImager
2. Open window by clicking Select on the icon on the iconbar.
3. Enter an image name (add path if required) into icon.
4. Put the disc to be copied into the drive.
5 Click Process
PROBLEMS
There are no known problems ;-) Well actually there is one niggle,
certain errors cause a *command window to appear :-(
MODIFYING ADFImager
If you want to change the icons or text in ADFImager to another language
then go ahead.
For example:
1. Copy Resources.UK to Resources.Germany
2. Amend Templates & Messages in Resources.Germany
3. Create an Obey file in your Choices system called
Choices:ADFImager.Choices containing the following line:
Set ADFImager$Country Germany
4. Run ADFImager.
