This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

CONTENTS Text fonts Loading !Fonts Changing fonts See manual for: Opus Text character set; match- ing fonts See also Text, Keypresses TEXT FONTS The fonts used by the various text styles default to styles of Trinity. The fonts can be changed (see Changing font, below). When you type text into Sibelius, you can use certain music symbols which aren't available in any normal font. For these symbols, Sibelius uses its own specially-designed font called Sibelius Tempo, and automatically changes back to the main font for normal characters. LOADING !FONTS You will have to do this before using the overview window, printing or saving a page as a graphic. Sibelius will remind you to do it when necessary. To load !Fonts, simply open a directory window with a !Fonts icon on it, and double-click on the icon. CHANGING FONTS You can change the font of any text style by going into its Font List menu, which lies to the right of the arrow after the text style's size. The current font for the text style will be ticked. You can then choose a different font. Choosing a different font changes the font not only of text you will type in the future, but also of all text already typed in in that style. Although it changes how text appears in the overview window and when printed, it does not change the font displayed in the editing window, which (for speed) is always one of the Trinity fonts. $
