PEP Associates SpeechSystem demo
================================
!PEP-Demo is a demonstration of the forthcoming software speech synthesis
package from PEP Associates. Simply double-click on the !PEP-Demo icon to
run it. This will result in a menu being displayed. Simply click on the
appropriate menu option to read about that subject.
IMPORTANT: Please note that SpeechSystem will not be available until 1st
March 1991. Any orders received before that date will not be
processed until the product is ready for shipping.
When the text is displayed, some "cassette tape" controls are displayed
above the text. Their functions are, left to right:
* full rewind: rewinds the text and speech to the beginning
* rewind: rewinds the text and speech to the line above if there is one
* stop: stops the speech playing
* play: plays the speech from the current point
* single step: moves the text and speech forward by one word
* repeat: repeats the current word
* forward: moves the text and speech to the line below if there is one
Please note that the demonstration can be freely distributed, although the
following copyrights should be noted:
