This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

*In order to clarify the situation as to how this READ ONLY version of ArcFS
2 may or may not be used I have included this file:
*Read the following carefully - the conditions have changed from previous
read only versions.
*This read only version of ArcFS is NOT public domian. However, it may be
copies may be passed on to other people as long as the following conditions
are met:
(1) Copies may be passed between private individuals as long as this
is done free of charge.
(2) It may be distributed by public domain libraries, as long as no
more than �1.50 is charged for a 800Kb (E format) disk of P.D.
software containing ArcFS and no more than �2.00 is charged for
a 1.6Mb (F format) disk. If charges are higher than this, then my
permission must be obtained first.
(3) It may be distributed by remote databases such as FTP sites or
mail servers on InterNet or bulletin boards, as long as no charge is
made for downloading it (other than the cost of the phone call).
(4) ArcFS must NOT be distributed with software, other than as detailed
above, without my permission. If a profit is being made from the
software, then this will normally be in return for a small royalty
or one-off payment.
(5) The copyright remains mine at all times.
*No part of the !ArcFS application may be used separately from the rest of
the application without my permission.
