This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Cheats
Thanks to that kind person Alan Godfrey of Barnet, we have not one - but
seven cheats to offer in the cheats section this month; as if the column by
itself wasn't enough for you!
Anyway ...
CANNON FODDER
Choose the load game option and enter the world JABULA for the level skip
feature to become active. Thereafter, press F10 to skip a level.
CHUCK ROCK
Type in the phrase 'PINKYANDPERKY' or 'ERMINTRUDE' during the title screen
(you know, where the Chuck Rock band are playing their song) to be able to
fly every time you press the F key (with the piggy cheat), or for
invulnerability (supposedly due to Ermintrude being the sacred power Chuck
has inside?)
E-TYPE
If when you hit an oil slick you hold down 'P' and wait until the noise stops
and then restart - you'll find you're no longer skidding!
HIGH RISC RACING
All sorts of things - type the code words in on the main screen to get the
features described.
SWARM - All cars becomes hornets
QUID - Gain lots of money
FIRST - Start the game in first place
MINCARS - Only three cars in the race
QKFXP - Pressing F2 allows you to skip the level so long as nobody else has
finished.
HOSTAGES
It's been pointed out before that the name of Gary Partis's wife is Ruth -
and I think it's a sign of pure devotion that the cheat in Hostages is just
that. Hold down the letters RUTH when the starting sequence is happening,
this will activate the cheat mode and also allow you to go straight to any
level.
PREMIER MANAGER
If you type in 753423 on the phones you will get a 99 goalkeeper.
ZARCH
During the game, press QUT and SELECT together. Now, by holding down D / L /
F you toggle the autopilot, gain an extra life and refill your vehicle!
Other than that, I've included cheatmods for Repton 4: Ego, Populous and
Repton 3 (Archimedes version). I'm hoping to be able to offer a cheat for the
Risc PC version of Repton 3: it'll be here next month.
If Alan would like to write in to the DarcWorld c/o Archimedes World at the
usual office address, we'll sort out a copy of a ProAction game for him. Same
offer to Andy Spence, because it's the first time someone's actually sent
cheats into DarcWorld, so ProAction were feeling generous ..
