Readersoft/Converter/!Converter/!Help

This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Disclaimer & Notes on Accuracy

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that all data in this application
is accurate it should not be taken for granted that a conversion is correct,
especially in important situations. I shall not be held responsible for the
outcome of the use of any data obtained through the use of this software nor
any information contained in the accompanying documentation.

The level of accuracy varies from one conversion to another, and whilst a
result may seem very accurate it is probably accurate only to a few
significant figures. There is really no avoiding this, but results should at
least be accurate to 3 significant figures. If you have a suitable
spreadsheet then you could perhaps use it to reduce the number of significant
figures shown in the data.
